V-Opening QOC HORIZONTAL

“GPS” has launched on the market an innovative Quick Opening Closure (Q.O.C.) with jaws (V-Opening) composed of two jaws pivoted together and controlled by a single threaded rod operated by a single operator through the use of a handwheel. The result is halving the opening and closing time and the workforce compared to the classic Quick Opening Closure (Q.O.C.) with double threaded rod and double handwheel. The opening and closing operation requires efforts below the threshold of 200Nm. Its use is recommended for diameters from 6” up to 90”, for pressures up to 425 BAR (ANSI 2500) and for temperatures up to 345°C.
