Process parameters and dimensions
- dimensional range : from 3" to 90";
- temperature range : from -46°C to +345°C;
- pressures range: up to 425 BAR (2500#).
The sealing elements are engineered according to the above conditions and compliant with the inside fluid.
The QOC can be made by two different type of connection:
- welded;
- flanged,
the second type allows the removal or replacement activities of the QOC in safety without welding activities.
The opening options for both horizontal and vertical installation can be:
- Manual lever or handwheel;
- hydraulic cylinder manually operated;
- hydraulic cylinder with electric control unit;
- pneumatic cylinder;
- electric actuator.
Design
- ASME VIII Div.1 appendix 24, Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/UE (PED);
- ASME VIII Div. 2 regarding finite element calculation (FEM).
Materials
- EN 10204 2.2, 3.1 or 3.2
The type of materials is wide, for exemple:
- carbon steels;
- alloy steels;
- stainless steels;
- duplex steels;
- super duplex steels.

- Partial U-Stamp.

The QOC are also equipped with:
- a mechanical safety device which prevents the opening of the Quick Closure due to a residual pressure.
- innovative anti-pollution and safety system “TESS” (TWIN ECO-SAFETY SEAL) system that allows the preventive signaling of any type of leakage of the seal.
The QOC can be cladded with materials such as 316, 321, 310 H stainless steel, Inconel, Stellite Gr. 6, Ceramic or other material according to the customer Specs. The cladding can be done on all internal parts in contact with fluid or just on the surface in contact with the seal.
